Hikari Staple is a daily diet developed to meet the nutritional needs of koi without providing colour enhancement.

FEATURES .. Hikari Staple is a floating type food that will not cloud the water. Floating foods allow you to monitor the eating habits your fish and adjust the amount of food as necessary. Hikari Staple is a nutritionally balanced combination of the highest quality ingredients. Including stabilized vitamin C, promoting consistent growth, resistance to disease and desirable form. Hikari Staple is available in three pellet sizes offering easy consumption by all sizes of koi from baby to fully-grown. All Hikari brand fish foods are manufactured by highly automated and specialized equipment under exacting quality controls. This focus on quality and our insight into the nutritional requirements of koi, helps us assure koi keepers that they can experience long-term success.

FEEDING .. When water temperature is consistently above 16 degrees C feed 1 to 2 times daily. Once pond water is consistently above 22 degrees C feed 2 to 4 times daily. Please do not feed more than your fish will eat within 3 to 5 minutes, removing any uneaten food after feeding period expires.

INGREDIENTS .. Whitefish meal, wheat flour, wheat-germ meal, brewers’ dried yeast, soybean meal, dehydrated alfalfa meal, vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E, vitamin K3, vitamin B12, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate(stabilized vitamin C), magnesium carbonate, manganese sulphate, calcium iodate.
